Please take a moment to fill out our exiting agent review form so we may have a better understanding of the reasons of your departure. In addition, this allows us to properly close out your accounts and prepare documentation (if needed) for any pending sales or active listings to make your transition as seamless for you as possible. The feedback shared will be shared with any necessary persons.

 

All agents transferring to another brokerage must complete the following: turn in any office keys, borrowed books, technology, lockboxes, and anything else you may have checked out or borrowed during your time at Luxe Omni. All items must be turned in within 24 hours or a $100 per day late fee will be incurred. Any fees for listing photos/videos will be due immediately. If you have used any services which are not yet billed, WOW photos for example, you will still be responsible for paying these expenses. If you have a current outstanding balance, it must be paid immediately.

For all active listings:

To transfer to new brokerage. Upon completion of this form and the seller agreeing to the listing transfer by signing the Transfer and Cancellation of Listing Agreement, all active listings will be released without any referral fee to Luxe Omni. Luxe Omni will terminate listings in the MLS once the proper termination paperwork has been submitted and any balance due to Luxe Omni has been paid. You will be responsible for entering the listings back in the MLS under your new brokerage.

For all properties under contract, your options are as follows, per Ohio license law:

a) Close with Luxe Omni. Luxe Omni will assign an agent (of your choice but the agent must agree) at Luxe Omni to oversee the contract through closing. You must provide us with the complete contact information for any clients and you are to have no further contact with them specifically regarding the real estate transaction until after the closing. You will owe your normal commission split and transaction fee, plus the agreed-upon fee to the agent overseeing the transaction(s), along with any other normal costs previously agreed upon, to Luxe Omni at the time of closing. You must remove any signage with your name from the property and stop all advertising. You are not allowed, per license law, to have any contact with your clients regarding the real estate transaction.

b) Transfer to new brokerage. Your new brokerage must consent to take over representation. Agency Relationship and Listing Agreement must be terminated with Luxe Omni and signed by all parties. No further advertising may be done under Luxe Omni, including yard signs. Contract To Purchase must also be updated to remove Luxe Omni to reflect your transfer and signed by all parties. A new Agency Disclosure Statement and Consumer Guide to Agency Relationships must be signed with your new brokerage. You will owe your normal commission split and transaction fee, along with any other normal costs previously agreed upon, to Luxe Omni at the time of closing, which must be paid by your new brokerage within 10 calendar days of closing and must include a copy of the settlement statement. If Luxe Omni is currently holding any earnest money, all parties must consent to transfer the earnest money to your new brokerage (buyer, seller, new brokerage). Luxe Omni is unable to hold earnest money for any contracts which are being transferred. Once the necessary paperwork is completed and submitted to Luxe Omni, we will terminate your listing in the MLS and you will be responsible for entering it in as a new listing, per MLS rules. Once everything is completed, you may put your new sign in the yard and advertise it in other locations. Until all of this is completed, you are not allowed, per license law, to have contact with your clients regarding the real estate transaction.

Important things for you to know:

Please expect all your Luxe Omni related accounts to be deleted within 24 hours of our brokerage receiving notice of your departure. Please be sure to export all client data from your CRM and copy any personal designs from your Canva account right away. Please note that once you leave, you do not have permission to use any Luxe Omni provided designs or other Luxe Omni provided materials either in whole or in part.

Additional information might be requested such as client contact info, Luxe agent taking over (if applicable), and other contract related information which must be provided in a timely manner.

If you change your address before 1099's are issued next year, please be sure to let Luxe Omni know so we can update your address.

Be sure to turn in your office key and any other items such as signs, lockboxes, etc within 24 hours or you will incur a $100 per day fee.

If you have incurred additional costs that are not yet billed those amounts will still need to be paid.
